Revenge, is, as they say, best served cold, and my peeves have quite a few dishes to serve up.
- When people say "Pop" when they clearly intended to say "Soda".
- When people pronouce "orange" (o as in saw) as "orange" (o as in more)
- Similarly, when people mispronounce forest in the same way.
- Whenever people say "whenever" whenever they really mean "when." (Whenever I was six, I used to...)
- When people say they were "up to" somewhere instead of "up at". (Well, I was up to the gas station...)
- Of course, saying "infer" when one means "imply".

Living is Ohio, everyone, except for me & Angie's mom & dad, says "Pop" instead of "Soda". Drives me crazy! "Pop" is also is an onomatopoeic word as well as a term for "father", thus is confusing, but when I say "Soda", everyone knows what I am refering to! You know what Weird Al says about that girl who was perfect, except she said "infer" when she meant "imply": Close, but no cigar!
Another thing about Ohio that peeves me is when people will say, "should've went". It should be "should've gone", but people say it wrong all the time here!
I guess the only thing I have to say to this is.... Nerd. XDDD I'm to lazy to have pet peeves. But the whole Pop and Soda, that does bug me, even if I'm to lazy to say anything about it.
